The lostme-foundme locator is a very simple but effective product to safeguard your children in busy situations. The thing will young children is that they have a very good skill at evading your attention, it only takes a split second but that seems all it takes for your child to move out side of your vision circle.

The Lostme-Foundme is a fun to wear product for the child which will alert you the moment your child attempts to move outside your vision circle. This circle could be 1 metre or 20 metres, this is set by you and is fully adjustable.

This allows your child to move out to play and stay close when shopping or in crowded situations. On moving outside the set circle a small fob receiver will start to bleep to alert you that your child is out side your preset distance. If your child is out of your sight you can switch the receiver to the locate function and set the distance to maximum, the alarm will stop but when you start getting closer to your child the fob will start bleeping again.

Safewater Alarms is selling this product because it is simple but effective, it is  British designed and has been tested in the UK. The transmitters are well designed and half the battle is won if your child want's to wear the product.

Great as a present, ideal for grandparents, simple but effective.

The cost of 1no Transmitter of any of the designs below and 1no fob receiver is

Questions and Answers

Q Are the distances at which the alarm is triggered a precise measurement?
A
All these alarms operate by transmitting a wireless signal which exists as an
invisible thread connecting child to parent. The signal can be affected by obstacles
like walls, supermarket aisles, vehicles and any other obstructions. As a
consequence, the range at which the alarm will be triggered can vary accordingly.

Q What if I have more than 1 child? Can I use 2 or more alarm systems?
A
Yes. When the alarms are first turned on, the child and parent units “find” each
other with a unique code. This is known as “pairing”.
Turn on the first alarm, then simply turn on the second alarm a few metres away
from the first. The codes will be different for each alarm system. Make sure that
you mark each parent alarm with a colour or name identifying which alarm is for
   which child!

Q Are there other devices similar to the Power Alarm on the market?
A
Yes and no. There have been similar products on the market before, but they have
relied on cheap wireless technology offering limited stability and operating
ranges of no more than 12 metres.
The wireless technology employed in Lost Me Find Me Power Alarms is entirely new
and innovative. The pebble is tiny, yet achieves operating ranges in excess of 40
metres. Despite claims made, no other product has come close to these distances.

Q Do Lost Me Find Me alarms do anything else?
A
No. Lost Me Find Me alarms have been invented to do one job only - and to do it
better than any other product. They are designed to warn parents that their child
is moving away from them. These alarms will not tell the time or measure the room
temperature - there are other devices to provide that information.
By keeping the alarm to a single function, we have maintained simplicity and
   reliability.
