Panic Alarm
The Safety Turtle Panic Alarm is a wireless transmitter which is activated by pressing a sensor button, this sends a direct signal back to the Base Station which in turn sets off the alarm. The Base Station will activate an alarm sequence if the Panic alarm corresponds to the same colour as the coding plug. This means that you can have several panic alarms all going back to the same base station with the same colour as the coding plug. It also allows you to have a second Base Station with a different colour coding plug controlling different panic alarms. Example: Green panic alarm in swimming pool area, blue panic alarm in spa or sauna.
This allows you to segregate areas allowing for a quick response to an alarm activation.
Some areas that the Panic Alarm could be used are:
Hotel complex with indoor pool, Spa or/and Sauna area.

How is the Panic Alarm Mounted ?
The Panic Alarm can be either be wall mounted to a permanent clip or can be worn around the neck with the supplied neck chain
How long does it last and is the battery replaceable ?
The battery is replaceable and can be bought on line or from a good battery stockist, a new battery will last about 30'000 activations. We would however recommend that the Panic alarm is checked on a regular basis and good practise is to change the battery annually, especially if there in no means of knowing how many times it has been activated. They cost around £5.00 and the method of changing the battery is shown with the operating instructions.
Is the Panic Alarm water proof ?
The sensor is rain proof (but not submersible) and qualified to operate in weather all year round
Can it be used with other Safety Turtle products ?
The wireless panic alarm can be used in conjunction with all the Safety Turtle products as long as they are the same colour as the coding plug.
