A. Safety Turtle can easily be taken to another pool or boat or even on holiday
in Europe.
Q. Why are there two different coloured turtles?
A. By using different Turtle colours, neighbours can enjoy the benefits of
Safety Turtle without triggering each other's alarm. Each Base Station is set to
recognize a particular colour of Turtle by inserting a matching "baby turtle"
plug provided with the turtle wristband.
Q. Will rain or spray from lawn sprinklers set it off?
A. No, both rain and sprinklers will not normally set off the alarm.
Q. How long will my turtle last?
A. If used every day the battery life of a turtle is normally 3- 4 years

My children are fussy about what they wear. Will they wear the Safety Turtle
wristband?
A: The wristband is designed to appeal to children. Feedback from customers
indicates overwhelmingly that children enjoy wearing the wristband. In many
cases, after the wristband has been taken off for supervised swimming or
bathing, children will remind their parents to lock the wristband on again.
Q: How can I trust the battery in the Safety Turtle wristband?
A: If the battery in the Safety Turtle wristband is running low, the base station
will alert you with a special warning alarm. The battery has a life of up to
three years. It is permanently sealed within the rugged Turtle "shell" for
optimum security and durability during children's play.
Q: Can the Safety Turtle base station operate in areas where no electrical socket
is at hand?
A: Yes. Your base station will, however, require a Turtle Power battery pack
(available from your dealer or agent). The battery pack allows you to take your
Safety Turtle system anywhere. For safety reasons, the base station does not
accommodate generic batteries.
Q: Can one base station cover two or more children?
A: Yes, provided they are wearing Turtles of the same colour.
